SUMMARY:Bach "Tilge\, Höchster\, meine Sünden"
\nJ-S BACH: Tilge\, Höchster\, meine Sünden BWV1083 \nJohn TAVENER: Song for Athene \nEva UGALDE: Miserere \nFrancis POULENC: Ave Verum Corpus \nMaurice DURUFLE: Tota pulchra es\, Maria \nOla GJEILO: Northern Lights \nCantus Firmus \nOrchestre à cordes sur instruments anciens \nHélène Richardeau: direction musicale

SUMMARY:ECHO for Peace
DESCRIPTION:https://cantusfirmus.be/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/04-ANTOGNINI-Agnus-Dei.wav\nECHO for Peace \nCANTUS FIRMUS participe à l’événement organisé par ECHO (European Cities of Historical Organs) \n\n\n\n\n\nIn the weekend of April 25\, 26\, and 27\, ECHO is taking a stand against the senseless violence affecting our world. Without aligning with any political stance\, ECHO firmly chooses peace. Through 28 concerts in 12 European cities\, we aim to raise awareness of the countless innocent victims\, the destruction of homes and infrastructure\, and the devastating impact on cultural heritage. \nMusic has always been a powerful voice for change\, and during this special weekend\, organists\, musicians\, choirs\, and speakers will come together to inspire reflection. While we know our initiative cannot stop violence\, we believe that raising awareness is a crucial step toward a more peaceful future. \n\n\n\n\n\nChoeur Cassandra (Laurence Renson\, conductor)\nOlivier De Schutter\, lecturer\nMaria Vekilova\, organ\nBertrand Desmet\, cello\nChorale Royale Protestante (Laurent Fobelets\, conductor)\nFrançoise Tulkens\, lecturer\nMadeleine Cordez\, organ\nCantus Firmus (Hélène Richardeau\, conductor)\nCharlène Bertholet\, organ\nEquinox (Zeno Popescu\, conductor) \nFree entrance \n\n13:45: Cassandra Choir starts in the Jubilee Park\n14:00: Cassandra Choir\, dir.
